Earth Explorers Camp

Campers participate in hands-on activities that explore environmental science, earth science, geology, and marine science through experiments, outdoor exploration, and group projects. They learn about ecosystems, pollution, conservation, weather, climate, rocks, minerals, fossils, oceans, and marine life. Activities include building water filtration systems, creating food webs, identifying rocks and minerals, making fossil imprints, building and erupting model volcanoes, growing crystals, and creating ocean zone diagrams. Campers also take part in nature walks, environmental scavenger hunts, and outdoor observations where they collect and study natural materials like rocks, soil, and leaves. Throughout the camp, students work in teams to complete science projects and presentations, helping build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
