Math Mania Camp
with Grace Danuck
Ages: 11 - 13
Math games for fun and fluency! Card games, Board Games, Puzzle games. For multiplication, number sense, and more. In Math Mania, we will use fun and engaging activities that seamlessly integrate multiplication, fractions, division, money, and more. We may use single, one on one or team competitions depending on the game. I will cater to the age and ability of students, I have multiple games for multiple levels. Examples: fraction tower -- we build stacking circles by combining equivalent fraction pieces that fit together unit rate ruckus -- board game with playing cards, dividing simple money by # of items proportion tic tac toe -- two person board game solving one number of equiv fraction problem game for area, perimeter -- using gridlines student makes as many boxes/rectnagles/squares as possible guess the number puzzles multiplication card games lots more options!
"For campers staying for a full day, please be sure to pack a lunch. Kindly note that we are a nut-free facility."

Learn Multiplication (1-15)
with Stephenie Stevens
Ages: 7 - 10
In this introduction to multiplication, students will us skip counting, manipulatives, and practice to command the multiplication tables through 15. There will be fun activities, games, and low- to no-pressure while they accidentally memorize. Students must have mastered addition and subtraction.
Santa's Workshop
with Tony Pender
Ages: 8 - 18
The students will use small powered and hand-held tools to design and create age-appropriate wooden toys and gifts suitable for gifting. The skills include light drawing, planning, geometry, math, use of measurement devices and tool and workshop safety.
Middle School Math
with Grace Danuck
Ages: 11 - 13
Students will learn, practice and strengthen fundamental topics such as Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. We will also delve into one, two and three dimensional Geometry concepts of Perimeter, Area, Surface Area and Volume. As time allows, I hope to cover ratios, proportions, probability and more.
Middle School Physics
with Jim Mueller
Ages: 11 - 13
Join Science Jim for an excellent and fun introduction to the amazing world of Physics. We will be covering Newton's Laws of Motion and much more as we run, pull, build and throw our way to a deeper understanding of a core science. The focus of the class will be to expose the students to the fact that science is happening all around them. It's not just something that takes place in labs or universities. Physics is the science of the every day. Riding bicycles, walking, playing sports, Physics is right in front of you if you know how to find it.
This class will have weekly homework as well as regular quizzes and a final exam. Part of the reason for homework and quizzes is to teach the student how to organize their study time and improve their study skills.
Pre-Algebra: Building the Foundations of Mathematical Thinking
with Greg Corona
Ages: 10 - 13
Pre-Algebra helps students transition from arithmetic to algebraic thinking by building a strong foundation in numbers and patterns. Students work with operations involving positive and negative numbers, exponents, roots, and basic expressions. The course emphasizes understanding why mathematical rules work, not just how to apply them. Students develop problem-solving strategies and begin to recognize patterns across different types of problems. Lessons are designed to build confidence and reduce anxiety around math. By the end, students are well-prepared to move into Algebra 1.
Geometry: Understanding Shape, Space, and Structure
with Greg Corona
Ages: 12 - 18
Geometry explores the mathematics of shapes, space, and logical reasoning. Students study points, lines, angles, triangles, and circles, along with their properties and relationships. The course introduces formal reasoning through geometric proofs and structured arguments. Students develop spatial awareness and learn to visualize and analyze geometric figures. Connections are made between geometry and real-world applications. By the end, students strengthen both their logical thinking and mathematical understanding. Please Note: Lunch is required for all who have 2nd & 3rd period classes. Please add the correct lunch to your cart before checking out. If we notice that it is not added, we will add it as a separate invoice to you.
