2D Animation Station

Ages: 13 - 18
You know it and you love it, so why not learn it? In this class, students will gain an understanding of all things 2D animation, from walking and talking to the elements of nature! Each week we will discuss different movies and animations as well as the animators behind them, and put pencil to paper to create our own works, collaboratively and solo. Join us for a semester of film and fun!
Beginner Italian

Ages: 12 - 18
This beginner course introduces basic Italian vocabulary, grammar, and conversation. Students learn to read, write, and speak simple Italian while exploring everyday topics and Italian culture. By the end of the course, students can communicate in basic situations using simple sentences.
English Language Arts 2 (Part 1)

Ages: 12 - 18
Part 1 of this second level grammar class is all about verb conjugation. It will cover regular vs irregular verbs, action, linking, and helper verbs, and how and when to use each tense. Successful completion of English Language Arts 1 or demonstrated knowledge of the 8 parts of speech is required to take this class.
Everyday Engineering
with Snapology of Chapel Hill & Holly Springs
Ages: 7 - 12
In this program, students will work to complete a variety of vehicle themed Engineering Challenges. Some lessons will challenge students to follow existing instructions to build a predetermined creation while learning about an engineering or physics concept. Most lessons will challenge students to build a vehicle of their own design that meets specific criteria. Their teamwork and STEAM knowledge will be challenged during each lesson, while their creativity has time to shine!
High School Biology

Biology is the study of life, and in this class we will start from the very small and work our way up to the very large. This class is designed to give the students the knowledge and skills they will need for college. We will begin the year by looking at the very elements and molecules that make all life work. From there, we will move to cells, genetics, evolution, taxonomy, animal behavior, and ecology. Along the way we will have labs, activities, and microscope practice that will help to reinforce the concepts. This class has no dissection.
This class is designed to be a high school level course with weekly expectations of homework as well as regular quizzes and a final exam.

Talons and Tails: Tails

Ages: 11 - 18
Talons and Tails: Tails is a class where students will design and sew costume tails out of faux fur and minky. This class aims to explore the creation of homemade patterns and how to transfer them to fabric and create a 3D object. During this class students will be tasked to choose an animal, create a design, and then create a pattern that incorporates their design and the animals tail anatomy. As the class progresses they will learn a variety of both advanced and beginner sewing techniques. Some of these techniques include hand sewing, appliqué, and machine sewing. A number of different stitches, materials, and techniques will be utilized to bring their tails to life. Instructor Bios
