Algebra 1: Discovering Patterns and Relationships

Ages: 12 - 18
Algebra 1 introduces students to the language of mathematics through variables, equations, and graphs. Students learn to solve equations and understand how algebra represents patterns and relationships. The course focuses on linear equations, slope, and graphing as tools for modeling real-world situations. Emphasis is placed on connecting symbolic expressions with visual representations. Students develop logical reasoning and problem-solving skills through structured practice and discussion. By the end, students gain a strong foundation for higher-level math.
