The camp encourages curiosity, wonder, and big-picture thinking, helping campers connect ancient stories to modern understanding while building a deeper appreciation for the universe and our place within it.

Book Arts Camp

What is a book? In this camp, we will learn how to answer that question, as well as where books came from and how they’ve evolved. Through hands-on exploration, campers will discover the many forms a book can take while learning foundational book arts techniques like sewing, folding, and gluing. The camp encourages creativity and experimentation, inviting students to think beyond traditional ideas of books and consider them as both functional objects and works of art. Along the way, campers will develop craftsmanship, attention to detail, and an appreciation for the history and possibilities of bookmaking, leaving with a deeper understanding of how stories and structures come together.

Clay Sculpting Camp
