There will be homework as well as one quiz and one exam. This class is very broad in scope and is designed to be a quick overview of various bodily systems.

In this class, we’ll journey through swamps, mountains, coasts, and the deep, dark backwoods as we investigate the region’s legendary cryptids. Each week will take us to a new state, uncovering local legends and sneakily learning about the physical geography and cultural history that formed these tales. Whether you’re a fan of (age-appropriately creepy!) monsters, mysteries, or maps, this class will provide a new way to learn about the southeast.
