The Writer's Workshop
with Rachel Pantke
Ages: 11 - 15
Writer’s Workshop will engage writers with high-interest writing prompts and projects. This class will create a safe and supportive environment where students are coached incrementally towards improved writing skills. The class will prioritize the growth of the writer over tests and grades. We will work on writing strong sentences, short stories, poetry, essays, persuasive writings and more. Instructor Bios
Beginning ASL (American Sign Language)
with Audra Eckes
Ages: 9 - 12
We will learn and work on letters/fingerspelling, numbers and basic vocabulary, as well as some short phrases, including ways to introduce ourselves and ask and answer basic questions. We will learn and practice basic grammar and facial expressions. We will also learn a little about American Sign Language including the history and when, where and why it is used.

Clowning Around with Shakespeare

The students in this class explore the comedy and characters found in Shakespeare's plays culminating in re-creating the iconic Pyramus and Thisbe scene by the mechanicals in "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Cryptid Quest: Exploring the Southeast Through Monsters, Myths & Maps

Cryptids are more than just spooky stories! They can help tell about the geography, history, and folklore of the Southeastern United States. In this class, we’ll journey through swamps, mountains, bayous, and the deep, dark backwoods as we investigate the region’s legendary cryptids. Each week will take us to a new state, uncovering local legends and learning about the physical geography and cultural history that shaped these tales. Whether you’re a fan of monsters, mysteries, or maps, this class will give you a whole new way to learn about the Southeast.

Geometry: Understanding Shape, Space, and Structure

Ages: 12 - 18
Geometry explores the mathematics of shapes, space, and logical reasoning. Students study points, lines, angles, triangles, and circles, along with their properties and relationships. The course introduces formal reasoning through geometric proofs and structured arguments. Students develop spatial awareness and learn to visualize and analyze geometric figures. Connections are made between geometry and real-world applications. By the end, students strengthen both their logical thinking and mathematical understanding. Learn Division Part 1

Ages: 7 - 10
In this beginning division class, students will build off their multiplication mastery to learn even division using single and double digit divisors. Games and fun activities will support this class.
Preschool/Early Reading/Math
with Kelly Howell-Perez
Ages: 4 - 7
Designed for curious 4–7-year-olds, this class turns foundational skills into an adventure. In Math, your child will use colorful blocks, counters, and games to master number sense, patterns, and early addition. In Reading, we build "superpower" skills through phonics games, catchy songs, and immersive storytelling. We focus on letter sounds, sight words, and the joy of a good book. Every session is packed with hands-on discovery to ensure your child doesn’t just learn—they fall in love with learning!
