Beginner Spanish
with Kelly Howell-Perez
Ages: 7 - 11
This beginner Spanish class is designed for homeschool students ages 7–11 who are just starting to learn a new language. Students will learn basic Spanish words and phrases through fun activities like songs, games, and simple conversations. The class focuses on everyday vocabulary such as greetings, numbers, colors, animals, and family. Lessons are interactive and easy to follow, helping students build confidence in speaking and understanding Spanish at their own pace. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and have fun! P
lease Note: Lunch is required for all who have 2nd & 3rd period classes. Please add the correct lunch to your cart before checking out. If we notice that it is not added, we will add it as a separate invoice to you.
Creative Writing - Short Story

Ages: 12 - 18
This class will focus on creating strong story structure, using precise language for student ideas, and developing a writing habit.
Intermediate/Advanced ASL
with Audra Eckes
Ages: 13 - 18
We will review handshapes, letters/fingerspelling, numbers and basic vocabulary, as well as basic grammar, including facial expressions. We will focus on expanding vocabulary, describing people, objects and experiences, asking and answering questions, as well as phrases and sentences. We will also review and expand our knowledge about the history of ASL and Deaf culture. Students need to have had recent prior instruction in ASL. Myth, Monsters and Magic: An Interdisciplinary Mythology Class

Ages: 12 - 15
This class will explore mythology through the lenses of history, geography, philosophy, anthropology and literature. We will dive deep into stories, beliefs, and cultural traditions of ancient civilizations from around the world. Students will study myths from cultures such as Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Japanese and others, examining how these stories were used to explain natural phenomena, human behavior, and the mysteries of life.
Sewing with Melissa

Ages: 12 - 18
In this class, we will learn basic sewing skills from hand stitching to using a sewing machine and following sewing patterns based on the students' sewing level.
Study Hall - R4

Ages: 13 - 18
This is a space for the students to independently do their work or have quiet time.
