In this class we will read stories about earth science and learn about the layers of the earth, plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes, mountains, rocks and minerals, and the water cycle. We will create crafts and go outside to look for rocks and minerals.

Talons and Tails: Fursuit Head Bases - W3

Have you ever wanted to make your own fursuit head? In Talons and Tails: Fursuit Head Bases you can learn to do so! In this class we will be working with different types of foams and sculpting a wearable fursuit head. We will also go over the basics of lining the interior and patterning the exterior among other techniques!
Teen Art & Design - Credit Worthy - W3/4

This class is 2 hours long and will be worth a full credit, extending into May.
This class will offer a fresh and engaging approach, departing from the conventional art lesson. Students will not only learn fundamental concepts and techniques in art and design but also learn how to creatively express their thoughts and ideas. Through collaborative projects across various art media and other subjects, students will experience new and diverse creative endeavors. It will broaden their creative perspectives and thinking while exploring and discovering their own artistic voice. All you need is an open mind to enjoy the class.
V for Vendetta: A Graphic Novel Study - W3

Calling all graphic novel loving high schoolers! We are going to study V for Vendetta from a literary perspective. While we will not focus on the anime version, we might compare and contrast at times. You may choose for this to be worth 1/2 an ELA transcript credit, with homework beyond the reading. If you are not familiar with V for Vendetta, please review the series for adult themes before enrolling your student.
